ClearDatum operates its own email infrastructure rather than renting a mailbox from a provider. Mail for our domains is received, stored and sent from our own AWS account, under our own control.

About the mail we send
This system sends two kinds of message, and nothing else:
- Sign-in links to our own staff, sent only to an address that already holds an access grant on this system.
- Replies and correspondence written by a person, in reply to someone who contacted us or in the course of work we are already doing together.
We do not send marketing email, newsletters, bulk mail or cold outreach, and this system has no capability to do so. Every recipient is either a member of our own team or someone already corresponding with us.
Unsubscribing and complaints
Reply to any message asking us to stop, or write to hello@email.cleardatum.org, and the address is added to our suppression list. Suppression is enforced for every outbound message with no override, so nothing further can be sent to it. Bounces and complaints are added automatically.
